In April 2000 the company was acquired by Encore Industries and the paint sundry division became part of Encore Paint Sundries. We continue to inventory a complete line of quality plastic, metal and paper pails, trays and liners.

Our staff continues to focus its efforts at growing and improving its full line of paint and weatherization products and our dedicated customer service people work closely with order processing, our selected graphic artists and our production people to ensure that your order is done right and delivered on time. History of Midstate Plastics Corporation

Midstate Plastics is a subsidiary of Encore Industries, Inc. Our business was originally established as Shovel Lake Industries, Inc., in 19__ near Shovel Lake, Minnesota. We began as a thermoformer of a small line of quality paint sundry products operating from a relatively small facility. The business consisited of three employees performing marketing, scheduling, ordering and all other administrative functions. In response to the developing needs in the growing home hardware, DIY and paint market we established several strategic partnerships and quickly began esablishing a national reputation.

As our business expanded into the early 1990's, the small garage was replace by a new facility in Remer, MInnesota and our operations came to include an injection molding facility and production capabilities in thermoforming weatherization products and paint tray liners. In early 1994 we reorganized into what is now known as Midstate Plastics.

Today, multi-color offset-printing, high speed vaccuum forming and product assembly have become areas of expertise within our operation.
